At FUNIC, we pride ourselves on offering a dynamic educational structure that caters to the diverse aspirations of our students. Our academic system is meticulously organized into two routes and three pathways, ensuring that every learner can align their studies with their career goals. While we do not currently offer PhD programs, students who complete the Top-Up MSc at FUNIC are well-equipped to enroll in any PhD program at institutions around the world.
The Two Routes at FUNIC
Our academic offerings are built around two distinct routes:
- The HND-B-Tech-MBA-DBA Route: This progression is ideal for students looking to gain both practical skills and advanced business acumen. Beginning with the Higher National Diploma (HND), students can seamlessly transition into the Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech), then pursue an MBA and conclude with a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). This route combines applied learning, strategic management skills, and professional development at every level.
- The BSc-MBA-MSc Top-Up Route: For students who prefer a more research-oriented pathway, the BSc-MBA-MSc Top-Up option offers in-depth exploration of business theories and practices. This route culminates in a globally recognized MSc, preparing graduates for advanced studies, including PhD programs abroad.
The Three Pathways to Success
Regardless of the route they choose, FUNIC students can specialize in one of three pathways, each tailored to a distinct career trajectory:
- Intrapreneurship: This pathway is designed for individuals aspiring to become forward-thinking corporate professionals. The focus is on equipping students with the skills to lead and innovate within organizations. Courses such as Intrapreneurship and Career Readiness provide expertise in team leadership, creative problem-solving, financial planning, and customer research. At advanced levels, students engage in programs like Corporate Strategy and Change, which simulate real-world challenges in corporate settings.
- Entrepreneurship: Students in this pathway are prepared to become innovators and change agents, developing groundbreaking ideas and launching successful ventures. Early exposure to innovation starts with programs like Career Readiness and Business Apprenticeship, while advanced entrepreneurship training is delivered through BIZPRENEURSHIP. The journey culminates in FUNIC DEEP, an entrepreneurial incubator where students refine and implement their business ideas.
- Business Leadership and Ownership: For those aiming to establish or expand business ventures, this pathway provides the tools and knowledge required to succeed in a competitive market. Students gain foundational skills through Career Readiness and Business Apprenticeship courses, followed by a focus on strategy and operations in Mock Boardroom sessions. This pathway concludes with FUNIC FUN, a business accelerator that helps students scale their businesses for long-term success.
