The program features three distinct pathways tailored to individual aspirations. The Intrapreneurship Pathway is designed for those who wish to lead and innovate within established organizations. Through practical experiences starting as early as the second year, students learn how to drive transformation and create value from within. The Business Leadership Pathway focuses on building and scaling enterprises. Drawing inspiration from the Igbo Apprenticeship System, this hands-on model enables students to gain real-world experience in managing businesses, ensuring they are prepared to take on leadership roles immediately after graduation. The Entrepreneurship Pathway supports aspiring entrepreneurs with mentorship, resources, and practical skills to turn their ideas into successful ventures.
The program is built on a flexible academic structure, offering two routes to accommodate different career goals. The HND-B-Tech-MBA-DBA Route emphasizes hands-on, practical skills for those focused on business leadership, while the BSc-MBA-MSc Top-Up Route caters to students aiming for research-oriented, globally recognized qualifications. This flexibility ensures that every student can align their education with their long-term ambitions.

One of the hallmarks of the BIZPRENEURSHIP program is the Founder’s Banknote Challenge, an initiative introduced at FUNIC’s inception to provide seed capital to students venturing into entrepreneurship and business. This unique program has empowered nearly 200 students with the financial resources and support needed to turn their ideas into reality. By fostering entrepreneurial thinking and removing barriers to starting a business, the Banknote Challenge exemplifies FUNIC’s commitment to practical, impactful education.
In addition to the Banknote Challenge, FUNIC offers a range of innovative programs to enhance the BIZPRENEURSHIP experience. The FUNIC Incubator Program (DEEP) provides a platform for students to refine and scale their ideas with mentorship and resources. Programs like Agricultural Entrepreneurship Community Program (AGREC) promote sustainable development and entrepreneurial growth in the agricultural sector, while initiatives like Coding for Kids and Teens prepare the next generation for success in the digital economy.
