In his salutatory speech, Ledan Nzokwe, an undergraduate Software Engineering student and recipient of the Outstanding Orator Award, reminisced about their early days as students. He acknowledged their initial overconfidence and expressed gratitude to the faculty and staff for their comprehensive teaching.
Dr. Fotabe Elmine, the Founder and President, emphasized FUNIC's mission to nurture a new generation of African intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial leaders committed to integrity and hard work. She urged the graduates to leverage their minds, showcase Africa's strengths, highlight Cameroon's uniqueness, and focus on the value they add rather than their certificates.
Keynote speaker Mr. Clement Yuyun, Deputy General Manager of Union Bank of Cameroon, advised the graduates to cultivate reading habits, maintain proper sleep, healthy eating, and exercise, and stay professional.
The valedictory address by Mr. Nnoge Lovis Nkede, a senior IT Projects Manager at Orange Cameroun and MBA in Project Management graduate, highlighted the graduates' readiness to change the world, assuring the faculty and parents of their preparedness.
The major highlight of the event was the award of attestations and special awards.
Mr. Ndikombui Nigel Mingoh, Founder and CEO of Goodwill Group Ltd received the award of Alumnus of the year!
